Their mythology was based on polytheistic and pantheistic belief, because they believed in different gods and forces of nature, since they considered each natural entity to be a divinity. Therefore, in Inca mythology, there was no single God but the universe and God were the same thing.
Marked in time and space, Inca mythology saw the world divided into three planes: Hanan Pacha (celestial world), Kay Pacha (world of the present) and Uku Pacha (world of the dead).
